PROLONGATION COST CLAIMS
Claims for prolongation costs are a type of financial claim, made by contractors in respect of late running projects. They typically include claims for the cost of time related resources such as: site management, site accommodation and key items of plant and machinery. These kinds of resources are referred to as ‘preliminaries’ because historically they were listed at the beginning of bills of quantities.
DELAY ANALYSIS
Delay Analysis in relation to building and construction projects. IMCC personnel have experience in the forensic investigation required into the causes of delay on projects and are able to prepare the appropriate delay analysis, including critical path analysis, and advise where responsibility lies for delays. This may be as a stand-alone exercise or as part of an overall claim preparation strategy involving review of available contractual remedies and/or monetary claims.

ARBITRATION

EXPERT WITNESS
The courts and arbitrators appoint experts to ensure that the technicalities in a certain case are well explained to, and understood by the judge or the arbitrator themselves before coming up with a decision. The extensive knowledge that a Court Expert can provide can support them. The expert report for court that will be presented to them can be an aid to further understanding for the nature of the case.
